LEISURE

How do I book with Hand Picked Hotels?

You can book your stay via the website using the gold BOOK NOW button which you will find in the top right hand corner of the screen. Alternatively you can browse our hotel rooms and book an overnight stay here.

What is check in and check out time?

At all Hand Picked Hotels, you may check into your room from 3pm and we ask you to check out by 11am on the day of departure. While you are welcome to request an early check-in, unfortunately we cannot guarantee this as your room may not be ready. You are also welcome to request a late check-out; again we cannot guarantee this and if the hotel can accommodate the request there may be an additional cost.

A selection of rooms are available for dog-friendly stays, which can be arranged by contacting our reservations team on 01642 706 606. Please note that, at this time, dog-friendly bookings cannot be guaranteed through our website.

How can I amend or cancel my stay?

If you are looking to amend a current booking please contact us here. To cancel a reservation please click here. If you have booked via a Travel Agent or an on line booking site please contact them directly for any amendments or cancellations.

Can I use the Health Club during my stay?

As a hotel guest you can enjoy the Hotel's Heath Club & Spa from 2pm on your arrival date until 12 noon on your departure date. Please visit your chosen hotel Health Club webpages for more information on opening times and facilities.

What is a spa break?
A spa break is a short holiday or getaway that focuses on relaxation and rejuvenation through various spa treatments and activities, such as massages, facials, body scrubs and more. It is a perfect way to unwind and escape from the stresses of everyday life.

What do I wear to a spa break or an overnight spa break?
For a spa break or an overnight spa break, it is recommended to wear comfortable and relaxed clothing, such as swimwear for the spa facilities, a robe provided by the hotel and casual attire for dining and lounging.

What should I pack for a spa break?
When packing for a spa break, we recommend to bring any necessary toiletries, swimwear & flip flops, workout gear if you plan to use the fitness facilities, comfortable clothing for lounging, and any personal items you may need during your stay.

Can I go on a spa break alone? Can I go with friends or family?
Yes, you can go on a spa break alone, with friends, or with family (over 18’s only). Hand Picked Hotels offer spa packages and accommodations tailored to solo travellers, couples and groups, ensuring that everyone can enjoy a relaxing experience together.

How do I choose from different spa breaks?

What is a spa treatment?
A spa treatment is a service to promote relaxation, rejuvenation and overall well-being. These treatments typically involve techniques such as massages, facials and exfoliation, and may also include the use of essential oils, aromatherapy, and other therapeutic practices. Spa treatments are designed to enhance both physical and mental wellbeing.

What are some popular spa treatments to choose from?
Some popular spa treatments offered by Hand Picked Hotels include massages, facials, body treatments manicures and pedicures. Each hotel may offer a slightly different selection of treatments, but all provide luxurious experiences. 

Spa Vouchers

What is a spa voucher?
A spa voucher purchased with Hand Picked Hotels is a gift certificate (either for a monetary value or for a named experience)  that can be used towards  treatments, spa days or spa breaks

How long do spa vouchers last?
Once purchased, the spa vouchers should be used within 24 months at Hand Picked Hotels’ spa.

How do I redeem a spa voucher?
Hand Picked Hotel Spa Gift Vouchers can be redeemed on line. Please bring your Gift Voucher with you and inform one of our team members that you wish to use it for payment prior to starting your experience.

Is a spa voucher a good gift? How do I send one?
A spa voucher is a great gift for someone looking to relax and pamper themselves. To send one, you can purchase a spa package on our website, and we will send the gift voucher through post or via email.

Spa Dining

What should I wear to a spa that includes dining?
When coming to Hand Picked Hotels for a spa experience with dining included, it is recommended to wear comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for relaxation and dining.

Should I dine before or after spa?
It is recommended that you allow appropriate time between dining and the use of heat and spa wet facilities

Do I have to book for spa dining?
Spa and Afternoon tea will be taken care of as part of a pre-booked spa day. It is advisable to book for additional spa dining in advance to ensure availability and to avoid disappointment. Please call the spa to arrange any additional dining for example dinner in the hotel after your spa day

Do you offer any promotions for spa?
Hand Picked Hotels provide spa late availability on line and via our central reservations team at preferential rates.

What are the children’s swimming times?
Hotel residents' children may use the swimming pool, however 1 adult must accompany every 2 children under 8 years old in the swimming pool. Children under 18 (but 8 years and over) must be accompanied by an adult in the pool hall.

Can I bring a guest?
It is possible to purchase an adult guest pass at all hotels, prices of which vary per site. Guests must be supervised by a member at all times.

How do I book exercise classes?
Classes can be booked on our website or direct at site reception. To book a class at any of the hotels, please use this link.

How do I make amendments or cancel my membership?
To make any amendments or if you have any questions about your membership, please contact the Health Club Manager.
