Wine at Hand Picked Hotels

Each wine has been selected to marry with our award-winning modern British food or to be blissfully enjoyed on its own. Our menu encompasses wines from international estates that are interesting and innovative or classic and traditional, whilst making wine accessible for guests.

Wines from Villa Saletta, our owner’s vineyard in the breathtaking Tuscan Hills, features on our wine list. The Hands family purchased the historic estate in 2000 and have spent time lovingly restoring it whilst keeping many of the age-old winemaking practices the same. The wines produced at Villa Saletta are delicious, have won many prestigious awards, and reflect both the heritage of the estate and this fascinating wine region.

A very unique aspect of our wine list is the selection of wines from our owner’s personal cellar. The provenance of these wines is exceptional - they have come direct from the estates and kept in optimal condition for you to enjoy in the surroundings of our hotels. Some of our hotels also feature exquisite local wines, celebrating the best of British.
