With a focus on creating the highest quality products, Gilchrist & Soames also share Hand Picked Hotels’ business philosophy when it comes to safeguarding our ecology – from measuring and reducing their carbon footprint, to studying their ingredient’s impact on soil and water, and creating more recyclable and less wasteful packing.
Just like each one of our properties are unique, so is our toiletry collection. Gilchrist & Soames have created a bespoke range of amenities that highlight the distinctive style and ambience of our hotels to create a more memorable experience for our guests. Our unique fragrance is a vibrant herbal citrus accord, with a fresh and sparkling blend of grapefruit and orange to enliven the senses, enhanced with delicate, clean notes of lavender. All formulations are pH-Balanced, fully biodegradable and free from animal-derived ingredients, and the entire collection is also paraben and sodium lauryl sulphate-free.
Their in-house team of product developers and designers have ensured that every product is carefully crafted with our guests in mind. So, the soap uses sustainable palm oil; the shampoo leaves hair healthy and glossy, while the conditioner strengthens and protects; the bath and shower gel smells deliciously of honey and has a gentle cleansing foam that feels luxurious; and the body lotion uses a rich, natural emollient base enhanced with vitamin E extracts to leave skin smooth and hydrated without a greasy after-feel.
