We are excited to be launching our new range of in-room products at Hand Picked Hotels available from February 2020.
Working closely with our trusted partner Gilchrist & Soames we have developed a bespoke collection of toiletries which provide guests with a selection of products which are not only indulgent and high-quality but which have been created with a focus on being sustainable and environmentally friendly.
In each hotel room guests will find shampoo and conditioner, body wash and body lotion and a bar of hand soap. The product inside is part of the BeeKind collection that Gilchrist & Soames have developed which is paraben free and contains natural ingredients including honey. Plus, any palm oil used in our products must have an accreditation from RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) to ensure that it is from a certified sustainable source.
The packaging of our new products is made from 40% recycled material and is fully recyclable. The plastic also has a 1% Biodegradeable additive (BDA) which speeds up microbial action.
Not only this, along with the recyclable packaging and skin-friendly formulas, Gilchrist & Soames is supporting honey bee and sustainable pollination research at the University of California at Davis Entomology Department by donating a portion of the proceeds from the sales of the BeeKind Collection to the University's Honey Bee Research Program.
