A must-see for every fashionista when visiting Bath, you’ll see everything from historic Georgian gowns to cutting-edge fashions by some of today’s leading designers.
The museum is housed in the Assembly Rooms, Bath’s most magnificent Georgian building, where guests used to gather to dance, drink tea, play cards and listen to music. Entry to the Assembly Rooms is included in the Fashion Museum ticket, a must see if you are looking for things to do in Bath and near to Bailbrook House Hotel.
The museum displays chronicle the story of fashionable dress over the past 400 years and feature more than 160 dressed figures. There’s a dressing-up room (for both children and grownups!) where you can try on coats, hats, corsets, dresses and bonnets and have your photo taken against a Victorian backdrop. The museum hosts an exciting series of fashion-themed events for all ages, including workshops, talks and tours. Please check the Fashion Museum website for more details.
Local attractions and things to do in the area may not be open all year round and may require pre-booking. Please check the attraction website before visiting to avoid disappointment.
