Welcome to the family
We are delighted to introduce two new island resorts to the Hand Picked collection; Fermain Valley in Guernsey and Braye Beach in Alderney. These authentic destination hotels have been chosen for how well they epitomise what our guests love – excellent service, unmatched locations and unique features – and how they complement our existing resort hotels in the Channel Islands.
While they are not quite fully integrated into Hand Picked yet (you'll notice they still have their own websites for now) they are most certainly part of the Hand Picked family and already reflect the values we champion, making them a compelling proposition for leisure breaks and summer holidays. Golden sands, stunning sunsets and crystal-clear waters are within easy reach for your next island adventure.
Fermain Valley Hotel
Fermain Valley is an established resort hotel in Guernsey's St Peter Port, with 49 bedrooms - including four stunning treehouse suites - a spa, a swimming pool and a private cinema. The hotel has three popular restaurants; The Rock Garden Steakhouse, Ocean Greek Eats and Mexican restaurant Buho, as well as a much-loved tea room with breath-taking sea views from its elevated position overlooking the bay.
Its beautiful clifftop position affords incredible views of the neighbouring Channel Islands, and a free shuttle bus service offers the ultimate convenience. Luxury and comfort go hand in hand here, where you can sample relaxed coastal living at its best.
Braye Beach Hotel
Braye Beach Hotel in Alderney is the only 4-star hotel on the island, offering 27 bedrooms and a selection of restaurants and bars including beachside terraces and a contemporary new cocktail bar.
The Hotel is literally situated directly on Braye Beach - one of the best bays on the island. You can sit on the terrace and drop a pebble in the sand, meaning the views from the restaurant, bar and bedrooms are hard to beat. Grab a glass of wine, pick a spot and watch the beauty of nature on your doorstep.
Although Alderney is small (just 3.5 miles long and 1.5 miles at its widest point) there are over 50 miles of lanes and country paths alongside beautiful beaches with pristine sands, making it an ideal place for walking and exploring.
