The Domes

The Domes are returning and this year they’re set to be the most sparkling and shimmering yet!

The Terrace at Grand Jersey will once again be transformed into a glittering and glamorous drinking and dining destination from 1st November until 31st December.

Perfect for all the festivities, whether catching up with friends and family or entertaining corporate clients. Our new packages are filled with festive favourites and winter themed drinks, there’s no better place to be for the most magical time of the year.

Reservations are essential. To book your dome please use the booking widget to the right. Please be advised each dome accommodates a maximum of 8 people with one that seats up to 12 people. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday a minimum spend of £300 will apply per smaller dome and £400 for the larger dome per booking. Sunday – Wednesday a minimum spend of £100 per dome is required which is redeemable against food and drink ordered in the dome. Full prepayment is required within 7 days of making the reservation to secure your booking.

New Year's Eve

Celebrate New Year’s Eve in the domes and enjoy a winter cocktail with three delicious tapas, one mini dessert and a bottle of Champagne.

• Each 12ft Winter Dome accommodates a maximum of 8 people and a minimum total spend of £300 will apply per dome per booking, which must be prepaid. The 15ft Winter Dome accommodates a maximum of 12 people and a minimum total spend of £400 per dome will apply.
• There is £100 minimun spend required for the domes Sunday-Wednesday, this is redeemable against anything ordered in the domes.
• Please be advised that full prepayment is required within 7 days of making the reservation to secure your booking. For groups of less than 8 a minimum spend will apply.
• Each Winter Dome must be vacated at the end of the session booked promptly. No additional time will be given for late arrivals so we kindly advise guests to arrive on time for reservations.
• Refunds will be provided for any reservation cancelled at least 8 days in advance. Cancellations received within 7 days of the reservation will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 48 hours will not receive a refund.
• Please advise of any dietary requirements within 72 hours of your booking.
• Only food and beverage purchased from Grand Jersey may be consumed within the Winter Domes.
• Non-alcoholic beverage options are available; however there is no concession on the minimum spends.
• Regrettably no discounts are offered for the Winter Dome experiences.

There are 2 people wanting to hire the Winter Dome, how much would this be?
On Thursday, Friday & Saturday there is a minimum spend of £300 for the smaller dome and £400 for the larger Winter Dome per session. Sunday– Wednesday there is a £100 minimum spend required which is redeemable in the dome.

If there are less than 8 of us on the booking will we be joined by other people in the Winter Dome?
If you have booked the Winter Dome and there are less than 8 people in your reservation, you will have sole use of the dome as the minimum spend will have been prepaid and use of the Winter Dome is yours for the time slot booked.

What if we are more than 12 people, can we still come?
We do have strict capacities that we must adhere to for Health & Safety reasons. Due to this additional Winter Domes must be booked and paid for in advance. More than 12 people in your group, will result in the booking being cancelled and no refund provided.

What if my preferred date and time is not available?
When the domes are fully booked, we operate a wait list for any cancellations. We will also post on social media any last minute cancellations.

Would the food supplied be classed as a main meal?
The food offering in the Winter Domes has been designed to be light bites.

What can I expect from the domes?
The domes are festive and have a glamorous feel to them. They are warm and cosy, we will provide the setting, food, drink and the perfect atmosphere, you provide the company.

Will there be music in the domes?
Each Winter Dome is supplied with a Bluetooth speaker so you connect your own music.

If I arrive late will additional time be added on?
No additional time will be added on for late arrivals so we kindly ask you to arrive promptly to your session.

If I would like to stay in the dome longer and the next session is not booked is this possible?
If you would like to extend your time in the dome there will be an additional minimum spend of £300 required – this is available for 5pm bookings only, if a Winter Dome is not booked in the following session, please speak with a member of the team.

If I want to swap the drinks provided in the packages is this possible?
The only substitutes for the drinks would be for bottled beer or a non-alcoholic alternative. Please speak with a member of the team for more information.

As a hotel guest if I want to use the domes can I?
If you would like to use the Winter Domes they have to be pre-booked with reception. The same minimum spends and terms and conditions apply.

Can Afternoon Tea be enjoyed in the domes?
Afternoon tea is available in the Winter Domes between 12pm-3pm and in December we will be offering a special festive afternoon tea. If it is booked in the Winter Domes you have to book the afternoon tea package which includes a winter cocktail and the Winter Dome must be vacated by 3pm.

Are children allowed in the domes or are there any age limits?
We welcome families to enjoy the Winter Domes. There must be a parent or guardian present at all times aged over 18. The Winter Domes are not suitable for children’s parties.

What if I have dietary requirements or allergies?
Please let a member of the team know and we will be happy to accommodate your requests.

Can I charge my phone?
We will have a limited number of spare power sockets available to charge your devices within each Winter Dome.

What if there is rain?
Each of the Winter Domes is waterproof and you will still enjoy the Winter Domes experience in the rain, you may even enjoy it more so with the sound of the rain hitting the Winter Domes.

What if it is really windy?
All the Winter Domes will be secured and are weighted. For your safety, we may need to cancel your booking if we anticipate winds in excess of 50 mph (force 9). Please speak with a member of the team if you have any concerns.

I have booked and prepaid, can I change dates?
As long as the request to change is received more than 7 days in advance to your booking. Otherwise you will be expected to prepay and book for a new date. Your pre-payment is non-refundable.
