Hand Picked Hotels, the UK’s leading independent group of country house hotels and spa resorts, has awarded New Hall Hotel & Spa its Hotel of the Year in recognition of an outstanding performance throughout 2017.
At more than 800 years old, the historic country house hotel located in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, was selected from the Hand Picked portfolio of 20 hotels located across the UK and the Channel Islands.
The accolade was presented to New Hall’s General Manager Jonathan Squire during the annual awards ceremony held this year at Hand Picked’s Buxted Park Hotel in Ashdown Forest, East Sussex.
Attended by more than 75 guests, including the Hand Picked Hotels’ Board of Directors, senior team, general managers and colleagues from across the group, Julia Hands, Chairman & CEO of Hand Picked Hotels commented on the achievement: “I am delighted for the team at New Hall following a year of exceptional results across all aspects of hotel operations from guest satisfaction to employee engagement.”
