At Braye Beach Hotel we treat our guests as individuals and therefore we have a range of facilities catering for people of all abilities. 

PRE-ARRIVAL TO BRAYE BEACH ALDERNEY

  • A drop-off area is available and we are happy to assist with luggage 

ENTRANCE AND RECEPTION

  • The main hotel entrance has a ramp

  • The entrance is lit at all times

  • The entrance to reception has no steps 

  • The reception floor is suitable for wheelchair

  • There is an accessible WC available on the lower ground floor

BEDROOMS

We offer one accessible, spacious bedroom in the hotel with walk-in shower

Bedroom furniture can be re-arranged on request

A bedroom with non-allergenic bedding is available on request

Laundry service is available

More lighting options are available in bedrooms on request (extra lamps available)

All bedrooms have remote-controlled TVs

Subtitles are available on all TVs

Internet access is available in all bedrooms

All bedrooms have a telephone and tea and coffee-making facilities

Mini-fridges are available 

Terraces are accessible by wheelchair

Bedroom balconies are not accessible by wheelchair as there is one step over the patio door

DeafGard alarm is available on request

PUBLIC AREAS

  • Public toilet with baby change facilities

  • Bar, lounge and conference rooms are accessible by wheelchair

  • Corridors are lit at all times

  • There is an elevator to all floors

DINING

  • All restaurants (please add the link when it’s live) can cater for special dietary requirements on prior request (gluten-free, lactose-free, nut-free, vegetarian, vegan). Other dietary requirements may be catered for with prior discussion

  • All meals can be cut up for ease of eating, food may also be pureed/thickened if needed in all restaurants

RESTAURANT

  • The Vaults (please add the link when it’s live) is accessible by wheelchair

  • The Brasserie Restaurant (please add the link when it’s live) and Sea View Restaurant are not accessible by wheelchair - they each have one step at the site entrance

GENERAL ACCESSIBILITY

  • Emergency evacuation procedure for guests requiring assistance (please notify on arrival if assistance on evacuation is needed)

  • Assistance dogs accepted with prior notice

  • In accordance with legislation, smoking is not permitted in the hotel

  • Mobile phone signal with most providers is strong in the area

  • The fire alarm system includes bells, sirens and flashing lights. Assistance is given with evacuation if necessary

  • The bells and sirens will ring continuously if evacuation is needed. If you require assistance for evacuation please notify us on arrival
