At Fermain Valley Hotel we treat our guests as individuals and therefore we have a range of facilities catering for people of all abilities.

PRE-ARRIVAL

PARKING 

A drop-off area is available and we are happy to assist with luggage. We also have a registered disabled parking space by the main reception area.

ENTRANCE AND RECEPTION 

The main hotel entrance is fully accessible

The entrance is lit at all times 

The entrance to reception has no steps  

The reception floor is stone and suitable for wheelchairs 

Seating is available in the reception area 

There is an accessible WC available on the lower ground floor 

BEDROOMS 

We offer one accessible bedroom 

Bedroom furniture can be re-arranged on request 

A bedroom with non-allergenic bedding is available on request 

The bedroom has a walk-in shower 

An external laundry service is available 

All bedrooms have remote-controlled TVs 

Subtitles are available on the TVs 

Internet access is available in all bedrooms 

All bedrooms have a telephone and tea and coffee-making facilities

Mini-fridges are available for storage of medicine

The top terrace is accessible by wheelchair 

Balconies in bedrooms are not accessible by wheelchair, one step over the patio door 

DeafGard alarm is available on request

PUBLIC AREAS 

We have public toilets with baby-changing facilities 

The lounge area is accessible by wheelchair 

Some bars are accessible by wheelchair or via wheelchair lift

Corridors are lit at all times 

There is an elevator to all floors 

DINING 

All restaurants can cater for special dietary requirements on prior request (gluten-free, lactose-free, nut-free, vegetarian, vegan). Other dietary requirements may be catered for with prior discussion 

Meals can be cut up for ease of eating and food may also be puréed or thickened if required in all restaurants 

RESTAURANTS 

Buho is not accessible by wheelchair

Ocean is accessible by wheelchair lift

Rock Garden is located on the first floor and accessible via lift

GENERAL ACCESSIBILITY 

Emergency evacuation procedure for guests requiring assistance (please notify us on arrival if assistance on evacuation is needed) 

Assistance dogs are accepted with prior notice 

In accordance with legislation, smoking is not permitted in the hotel 

Mobile phone signal with the majority of providers is strong in the area 

The fire alarm system is comprised of bells, sirens and flashing lights. 

The bells and sirens will ring continuously if evacuation is necessary. If you require assistance for evacuation please notify us on arrival
