One of the UK's last remaining inland, outdoor, saltwater swimming pools located in Worcestershire.
The town of Droitwich Spa is situated on salt deposits and the salt has been extracted there for centuries. The Droitwich Spa Lido first opened in 1935 and today boasts a sun terrace, beach entry, café and children's wet play area*.
The 40m pool is a unique brine fed pool which benefits from the natural salt present in the local water. The water is heated to 23°C which mimics the temperature of the Mediterranean sea.
